Yes it’s true.  We see the Taos Flannels by Robert Kaufman and it makes us want to wrap ourselves in a fabric burrito and take a nap!  The hand-feel is superior to any flannel I’ve felt in a long time.  Seriously my friends, it’s S-O-F-T!  Softuh than Buttah!  And so warm!  Plus we’re really loving the southwest modern design trend.  And actually the reason we love it so much is because it doesn’t feel like a trend, it feels old and familiar but updated in it’s color palette.  I’m pretty positive that my grandfather had an old stool upholstered in a very similar fabric.  Another really cool thing about these is that they are also yarn-dyed!  That means the front and backside are equally gorgeous.  Hem the edges and call it a coverlet for the end of the bed.  And even though this is a flannel, I can’t help but think about how cool this would look in bag form.  Any of the Noodlehead bag patterns will do for this starry-eyed girl.
