Introducing Indian Block Prints: Cottage; Fableism’s first collection of block prints created by artisans in India. The traditional Indian motifs were recolored for an updated reimagining of classic styles. The soft hand of the 100% cotton fabric has a vintage lived in look perfect for quilts (low fray!), home decor (hello curtains!), and apparel (dress please). Cottage florals are available in beautiful colors on cream backgrounds for a low volume look. Think grandma core meets cottage core. Please Note: Due to the nature and process of traditionally block printed fabrics, block prints will experience a natural fade over time. The inks are color fast and will not bleed, but a slow fade is part of their beauty, charm, and lends to their unique vintage look.

Cottoneer always recommends to handwash with mild, bleach-free detergent, and hang-dry all cotton fabrics for best results. If machine washing is your preferred method, we suggest washing in cold water with like colors on gentle cycle using a mild, bleach-free detergent. Dry on low-heat tumble setting to minimize shrinkage. Bamboo has a higher shrink rate than cotton, so please plan accordingly.
